This Year's Project: Classroom curriculum and materials

Our mission is to empower individuals to reach their educational goals. Your future is important to us. We strive to provide educational opportunities that will have a meaningful impact on your life. We firmly believe literacy holds great power. Literacy is so much more than reading and writing skills. The depth of literacy lies in your ability to use your skills to get where you want to be in life. Our goal is to provide you with a quality service in a comfortable learning environment. It is our privilege to be part of your educational journey. Here at PVLA we offer Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Education Diploma (GED), English as a Second Language (ESL) and citizenship classes all at no charge to the students. We also offer a basic conversational Spanish classes to the general public and businesses for a fee.

100% of all donations raised for PVLA stay right here in the community. All donations will go towards curriculum and materials for our instructors and volunteer tutors of our classes. We do not charge any fee for our classes, so providing the necessary curriculum, materials and instructor salaries adds up quickly. Thank you for your past, continued, and future support.
