All verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are located in or serve the Columbus area are invited to participate in this event. Private foundations, political or governmental organizations, or places of worship are excluded from participating in this event.
Donations to participating organizations can be made online at columbusbiggive.org or in-person at select locations. Donations must be made during the giving period (midnight to midnight on Thursday, May 19th 2016) to qualify for matching funds.
The nonprofit organization you choose to donate to will receive the full donation less a 2.2 percent cost for online processing through PayPal if made online. The Columbus Area Philanthropy Council takes no percentage of your gift and is run completely by volunteers.

Yes. All organizations participating in the Columbus Big Give are verified 501(c)(3) organizations and will issue you a tax-deductible receipt following your gift.
